Brian Moon share a new interesting Nouns for open source developer (especially PHP developer): GLAMMP.
We all know what is LAMP = Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Perl/Python, so the extra G and M stands for Gearman and Memcached.
Frankly speaking, I can understand his point, but can not agree if we have to get a new name for every solutions, there are APC, Heartbeat, Zend, Pear, eAccelerator… etc. Well, you should know what I mean: it is already an overused Nouns for _AMP_.
However it is a good phenomenon, at least proved that Open Source is still actively growing and improving and many great ideas are evolved from chaos.
